About this dish

No added salt or sugar

Flavour comes from herbs, spices and the ingredients themselves.

We use spelt pasta from Northern Pasta Co. It adds flavour, texture and fibre, and it is made with grains grown with care for the soil. Radiatori is a favourite shape in our founder's house too: the ridges catch the sauce and the pieces are easy for little hands to pick up.

The sauce blends sun-blushed tomato, peppers and carrot with black beans hidden inside, so every bite carries more plants than it looks.

How to choose a texture

Questions parents ask

Is spelt pasta good for toddlers?

Spelt pasta adds flavour and fibre to a familiar dish. The radiatori shape is easy for toddlers to pick up, which makes it great for self-feeding practice.

How do I reheat the spelt radiatori pasta?

Microwave for 60 seconds (baby) or 90 seconds (toddler) in your own microwave-safe container. Add a splash of water and keep a lid on if you want a softer texture.

Is this pasta dish dairy-free?

Yes. The Tuscan tomato sauce has no cheese or cream, so the dish is vegetarian, dairy-free and egg-free.
