About this dish

No added salt or sugar

Flavour comes from herbs, spices and the ingredients themselves.

This dish introduces the warm, fragrant spices of North Africa: ras el hanout, ginger and coriander, balanced by the natural sweetness of apricots and tomato. Giant cous cous gives little ones a fun, round texture to explore.

Lemon zest on the broccoli adds a fresh lift. Serving a familiar vegetable next to new flavours gives children something they know while they try something different.

From Chef Kwesi

One dish, every stage

Our main meals come in the texture your child is ready for, and you can switch any time from your account.

Smooth

Blended for babies starting out on solids.

Lumpy

Soft lumps to practise chewing.

Bite-sized

Soft pieces for little fingers and self-feeding.

Toddler

A bigger portion for children aged 1 to 4.

How to choose a texture

Questions parents ask

Are spices OK for babies?

Mild spices like ras el hanout, ginger and coriander are a great way to widen your baby's palate. Our Moroccan chicken has warmth but no chilli heat.

How do I reheat the Moroccan chicken?

Microwave for 60 seconds (baby) or 90 seconds (toddler). For babies under 2, reheat on the hob with a dash of water and the lid on at medium heat for 4 minutes.

Is there a vegetarian version?

Yes. The vegetarian version uses chickpeas instead of chicken and our homemade vegetable stock. Both versions are dairy-free and egg-free.
