About this dish

No added salt or sugar

Flavour comes from herbs, spices and the ingredients themselves.

We use premium Scottish salmon from Loch Duart, one of Scotland's most respected salmon producers. It reaches our kitchen in as little as 48 hours from harvest, and its naturally delicate flavour pairs beautifully with Cajun-spiced sweet potato and roasted courgettes.

Older children may like bolder flavours. At home, try a splash of apple cider vinegar and olive oil over the courgettes straight out of the oven.

One dish, every stage

Our main meals come in the texture your child is ready for, and you can switch any time from your account.

Smooth

Blended for babies starting out on solids.

Lumpy

Soft lumps to practise chewing.

Bite-sized

Soft pieces for little fingers and self-feeding.

Toddler

A bigger portion for children aged 1 to 4.

How to choose a texture

Questions parents ask

Can babies eat salmon?

Yes. Oily fish like salmon is a great part of a varied diet for babies and children. We remove the bones and cook it gently so it flakes easily.

How do I reheat the salmon without drying it out?

Microwave for 60 seconds (baby) or 90 seconds (toddler). For babies under 2, add a dash of oil, keep a lid on, and take the fish out after 45 seconds to avoid overcooking. Your account has alternative reheating for older children.

Is there a vegetarian version?

Yes. The vegetarian version uses roasted tempeh with the same Cajun sweet potato and courgettes. Both versions are dairy-free and egg-free.
