About this dish

No added salt or sugar

Flavour comes from herbs, spices and the ingredients themselves.

Our salmon pasta bake uses premium Scottish salmon from Loch Duart, which reaches our kitchen in as little as 48 hours from harvest. We fold it through chifferi rigati, a ridged, curved pasta that holds the creamy sauce, with carrot and a parmesan finish.

Roasted broccoli on the side adds colour and a familiar green. For older children, top with cheddar and finish it in the oven for a golden crust.

How to choose a texture

Questions parents ask

Is salmon pasta bake suitable for babies?

Yes. Pasta bake is soft and easy to eat, and salmon is a great oily fish for little ones. It comes smooth, lumpy or bite-sized for babies from 7 months.

How do I reheat the salmon pasta bake?

Microwave for 60 seconds (baby) or 90 seconds (toddler). For babies under 2, reheat on the hob with a dash of water and the lid on at medium heat for 4 minutes, adding the salmon in the last 2 minutes. For older children, top with cheddar and finish in the oven.

Is there a dairy-free pasta bake?

Yes. Our dairy-free vegetable and lentil pasta bake has its own page. It uses red lentils and oat milk and is vegetarian too.
