About this dish

No added salt or sugar

Flavour comes from herbs, spices and the ingredients themselves.

A proper Sunday-lunch plate for little ones. We roast tender lamb with rosemary and thyme and serve it with roasted potatoes, carrot and sweet peas, a classic British combination that introduces rich, savoury flavour.

Roast meat asks a little more of young chewers than slow-cooked stews. For younger babies we offer it smooth or lumpy, and the bite-sized version gives toddlers soft pieces to practise with.

Toddler

How to choose a texture

Questions parents ask

Can babies eat lamb?

Yes. Lamb brings rich flavour and protein. We cook it until tender and offer it smooth, lumpy or bite-sized, so babies from 7 months can start with the texture that suits them.

How do I reheat the spring lamb?

Microwave for 60 seconds (baby) or 90 seconds (toddler). For babies under 2, reheat the lamb and potato on the hob with a dash of water, lid on, at medium heat for 3 minutes, and add the peas for the last minute. Older children can find oven instructions for crispier potatoes in your account.

Is there a vegetarian version?

Yes. The vegetarian version swaps the lamb for roasted mushrooms with the same potatoes and peas. Both versions are dairy-free and egg-free.
